FAQ
A: During your first visit, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to fill out a brief
intake questionnaire. This helps us understand any specific needs or conditions you may have.
Your therapist or practitioner will then discuss your preferences and areas of concern before
beginning the massage. Expect a tranquil and relaxing experience tailored to your needs. We
will provide a change of clothes and some Thai tea, so please come at least 15 minutes early.
A: For a Thai massage, we recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Thai
massage involves a lot of stretching and movement, so it’s best to wear something that allows
for easy mobility. We provide clean traditional Thai massage attire for your comfort.
A: The frequency of massages depends on your individual needs and lifestyle. For general
wellness and preventive care, we recommend getting a Thai massage bi-weekly or monthly.. If
you are dealing with specific issues like chronic pain or stress, more frequent sessions may be
beneficial.
A: Yes, but it’s important to inform your therapist about any medical conditions you have. Certain
conditions may require modifications to the massage techniques used. If you have severe
health issues, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking a
massage.
A: Thai massage should not be painful, but it can involve deep pressure and stretching.
Communicate with your therapist about your comfort levels and any pain you experience. The
goal is to relieve tension and enhance well-being without causing discomfort.
A: Thai massage offers numerous benefits, including increased flexibility, improved circulation,
reduced stress, relief from muscle tension, and enhanced energy levels. It combines
acupressure, assisted stretching, and rhythmic movements to promote overall health and
well-being.
A: Unlike traditional Western massages like Swedish or Deep Tissue, Thai massage
incorporates assisted stretching, acupressure, and energy line work. It is performed on a mat on
the floor or our specially designed Thai massage table, and the recipient remains fully clothed
(unless oils or balms are applied to specific areas for relief). Thai massage focuses on holistic
healing and balancing the body’s energy and increasing flexibility and mobility.
